In the final chapters the focus shifts to immigration and technology disbursement across Austronesia. However, it must be noted that this book was written in **1981**, and information on immigration and technology disbursement is severely outdated and **contains several disproven ideas**. For these topics it is recommended to look elsewhere. The information on boat craft and use still remains relevant today. This book contains many diagrams, blueprints, charts, photos, and illustrations.
